Brian LangleyBrian Langley has been teaching science at Novi High School in Michigan for 18 years, most recently teaching Physics and International Baccalaureate Physics to 9th–12th grade students. Langley serves as Content Area Leader of high school science for the Novi Community School District, co-leads the district's K–12 transition to the new Michigan Science Standards, and is the District Teacher Mentor Coordinator at the secondary level.

Langley has presented on topics including scientific literacy, grading practices, and education reform. He is involved with numerous committees, activities, and education associations at the district, county, state, and national levels. Langley's recognitions include the Milken Educator Award in 2007, the College of Natural Science Recent Alumni Award from Michigan State University in 2008, Lowell Milken Center for Unsung Heroes Fellowship in 2014, Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching in 2015, and National Board Certification in 2017.
