Nicole Martin
Nicole Martin is a Science Specialist with the Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative (AMSTI). AMSTI is a K–12 statewide initiative that seeks to provide hands-on, inquiry experiences for all students. As a Science Specialist in the University of Alabama–Huntsville region, she delivers on-site teacher support, designs and facilitates content specific professional development, and serves as liaison to the Alabama State Department of Education. Nicole is on the faculty of the Mickelson ExxonMobil Teachers Academy (MEMTA) and, is a trainer for Carolina Biological. She has a Master of Science degree and 13 years of combined teaching and facilitation experience. Nicole is married to Arthur; they have one daughter, Rachael. In her free time she enjoys listening to jazz music and watching classic movies.
