Buy a Brick … Build a Legacy

The Center for Science Education When NSTA breaks ground on the John Glenn Center for Science Education, you have the opportunity to put your mark on our effort to improve science education by supporting teachers.

When you support the Buy a Brick … Build a Legacy program, your name or the name of someone you would like to honor will be inscribed on a brick that will placed in a prominent location at the new John Glenn Center for Science Education.

Your participation will support the creation of an important new resource for science educators everywhere, and your brick will recognize your commitment to science education for years to come.

To kick off the fall season of area conferences, NSTA is extending a "conference rate" online for the Buy a Brick program. The conference rate for bricks will be available online October 26 through December 6. Three options are available as part of the program for gifts of $50 (normally $75), $250 (normally $275), or $350 (normally $375).

Engraved Brick: John Glenn Center for Science Education

For a contribution of $50 to the Buy a Brick … Build a Legacy program, NSTA will engrave your name or the name of someone you would like to honor on a 4" X 8" brick that will placed in a prominent location at the John Glenn Center for Science Education.

Whether it is your name, or the name of a family member, a teacher who inspired you, or someone else, you have 3 lines of text with 20 characters per line to work with (punctuation and spaces count as characters).

For a contribution of $250 to the Buy a Brick … Build a Legacy program, NSTA will engrave your name or the name of someone you would like to honor on a 12" X 12" paver that will placed in the garden terrace of the training and education conference center located on the top floor of the John Glenn Center for Science Education.

Whether it is your name, or the name of a family member, a teacher who inspired you, or someone else, you have 5 lines of text with 15 characters per line to work with (punctuation and spaces count as characters).
