International Advisory Board
General Responsibilities
Advise, guide, and provide input on international activities for the Association, including the development of action plans and specific strategies for implementing international efforts within the NSTA framework.
Composition
Chairperson
Appointed by the President-Elect, one year prior to term of office, from the committee members from the previous year. The appointee shall not be in the final year of his/her term on the advisory board at the time of appointment. The appointment shall be for one year.
Nine Presidential Appointees
The NSTA President shall make three appointments each year in consultation with NSTA staff. The members will represent a broad spectrum of international expertise. At least one of the three appointees shall reside outside of the United States. These appointments are for a three-year term of office.
