Teachers enrolled in this 13-week online course, offered by The American Meteorological Society, SUNY Brockport, the National Science Foundation, the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration, and NASA, will develop a strong foundation in physical oceanography, and implementation strategies will be developed to adequately communicate this science to students regardless of class age, size, course, or instructional format. All teachers are strongly encouraged to apply for this course, which is held twice a year starting in either late August or mid-January. Teachers can earn three free graduate credits in the Earth Sciences from SUNY Brockport upon successful completion of the course.
