These international Earth Expeditions courses from Miami University's Project Dragonfly offer professional development opportunities in countries throughout Africa, Asia, Australia, and the Americas. Courses link formal and informal educators with scientists, naturalists, international educators, and conservationists for direct research experience at conservation hotspots throughout the world. Following the summer field research experience, educators return home to continue work on their own research projects, engaging their students, colleagues, and communities in conservation action.

Applications will be accepted at any time; however, applicants who apply after January 28, if accepted, may need to wait until the following year to begin their program of study. Learn more at www.facebook.com/PrjDragonfly.

Dragonfly also offers the Global Field Program, a master's degree from Miami University offered entirely through Earth Expeditions experiences worldwide with coursework on web-based learning communities. Most tuition is waived for these classes, and students may complete the master's part-time from anywhere in the United States or abroad.
