The Spencer Foundation awards grants in the following areas of interest: Education and Social Opportunity; Teaching, Learning, and Instructional Resources; Purposes and Values of Education; and Organizational Learning. Principal Investigators applying for a research grant must be affiliated with a school district, a college or university, a research facility, or a cultural institution. Researchers must also have an earned doctorate in an academic discipline or professional field or appropriate experience in an education-related profession. Grants of up to $50,000 are available. Subsequent deadlines in 2013 will be July 23 and October 15.[hide full description]
