The Toshiba America
Foundation is a private, endowed, not-for-profit corporation whose
mission is to financially support projects to improve science and mathematics
instruction and learning. The Foundation carries out this mission consistent
with the good corporate citizenship goals of Toshiba America, Inc., and
the five Toshiba America group companies operating in the United States.
Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., a Toshiba group company in partnership
with Microsoft Corporation, has also developed the Notebooks for SchoolsTM
program, which provides teachers and students with 24 hour access to computers.
This program helps schools acquire laptop computers and Microsoft Office
software tools for every student, and is in place in more than 750 schools
around the nation.
