NSTA publications on topics ranging from Einstein to wildlife “crime” scenes recently accepted accolades from publishing associations.
In May, the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) honored The Story of Science: Einstein Adds a New Dimension. A few weeks later, four NSTA Press® books and the association’s journal Science Scope won the prestigious Distinguished Achievement Award from the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP). In addition, The NSTA Ready-Reference Guide to Safer Science received a bronze Excel award from the Society of National Association Publications in the technical book category.

IBPA awarded Joy Hakim’s Einstein, copublished by NSTA and the Smithsonian Institution, the Benjamin Franklin Award for excellence in education/teaching/academic publishing. AEP presented Distinguished Achievement Awards, its greatest tribute in educational publishing, to the following NSTA publications:
