October 1—Submit your manuscript on the theme “STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)”

October 13—The first live session for the NSTA Online Short Course: Light addresses topics science teachers need to know to teach about light with confidence. The registration fee includes access to the five live meetings and archives, the instructor’s PowerPoint presentations, a discussion forum, and the required course materials: SciPack, SciGuide, two journal articles, and the NSTA Press book Light: Stop Faking It! October 15—Submit your application to serve on NSTA’s Board and Council. Joining NSTA leadership is a chance to impact local, state, and national science education.
