Chronicles of Courage: Flying Tigers--STEM Lesson for Grades 7-12

"Flying Tigers," is one of 20 short videos in the series Chronicles of Courage: Stories of Wartime and Innovation. After the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, an exclusive group of American pilots secretly prepare to fight the Japanese in China. They are the American Volunteer Group, nicknamed the Flying Tigers. Using daring dive tactics, Squadron Leader Tex Hill describes how the P-40 airplane was successful against the Japanese Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa, also known as the Oscar.
