I enjoyed this article, because it gives preservice teachers like myself a small insight into what students who get to college without an interest in majoring in the sciences go through when in a required science course. It helps us get a base understanding of the feelings behind students who are just trying to get through a class, and it calls attention to the need of educators to explore important details in the courses where students get the content, and most likely will not get it again.
