Launching a Campus-Based Electronic Periodical—Scientia: The Journal of Student Research: Showcasing Student Research Within Full View of the Electronic World

In an effort to involve students in research, writing, and the use of technology, faculty at Middle Tennessee State University developed Scientia, an electronic journal devoted to publishing student research. This article describes the purpose, organizational structure, implementation process, and possible pitfalls to avoid in creating a similar electronic journal.
