Great article with an interactive lesson and information students will love! The lesson on how flowers turn to fruit is fun and will really get the students involved! The article lays out the whole lesson for you and provides diagrams, charts, and pictures. There is even an extension part to the lesson along with a fun poem. This is definitely a lesson I would teach my students! Would definitely recommend to elementary school teachers.

When my daughters were in elementary school, I used to stop and visit and do science (at teacher request) and dissecting flowers was a popular request. This article has so much interesting information and the linked pictures at the end are so helpful - I just wish I had this resource sooner. Great information and clever way to introduce concepts - especially for those of us in the Midwest who grew up with stories of Johnny Appleseed.
