This article promotes oral language development through science for students with limited proficiency in English. Using the 5 E model of instructions these authors provide examples of how the strategies can be used. What I particularly liked about this article is the chart of strategies that show the design, the description and the benefits and purposes for using each strategy. These authors also describe diverse groups. This is a good article for professional development.
