Julianna Texley offers summer reading books from the reviewers of NSTA Recommends. Among the titles are the free book from NSTA Guide to the Framework Next Generation Science Standards, books on understanding photons, space and nature's patterns and technology and engineering intergration. I'd also highly recommend the newest formative assessment probe book on astronomy to get teachers ready for the fall.
NSTA Press produces classroom-ready activities, hands-on approaches to inquiry, relevant professional development, the latest scientific education news and research, assessment and standards-based instruction.
