I liked how the article began as an almost step-by-step guide. This would be useful for a teacher in this situation for many reasons, but especially the structure of what he/she has to do for their student/s. I also appreciated the entire section dedicated to assessing these students in this particular situation. As I have learned from the field, assessment can be difficult for students with certain necessities in the classroom. This article also clearly states how to assess NGSS. This section focused on the need for students to record their observations down while in a science lesson or experience which can correlate to ELL students as well.
