This article was really helpful to me as a teacher candidate/preservice teacher. I did not have the new NGSS standards when I was in school, so this is a totally new area for me. It is a great article to get teacher candidates to know how to assess their students. It shows us that we should assess our students on the paths they try (even if they are wrong) rather than if the student is correct.
