Completing the Study: High School Students' Views of Scientists and Science

In a study of K-8 students, teachers used an expanded version of Draw-A-Scientist Test (DAST) to gain insights to students' perceptions related to scientists, studying science, and using science outside the classroom. It provided an interesting profile of K-8 students but gave no insight to the views of high school students. In this article, the study was designed and conducted to gain insights into high school and the comparisons with those of K-8 students are provided.
