If you want to study insects there is a great deal of diversity. However, one unique characteristic of insects is explored in this article – insects that make galls. If you don’t know what a gall is then this is the article for you. Not only do you learn about them, you have an activity you can use in the classroom that provides the reader all aspects of bringing into the classroom and using this to help understand insects. I think this would definitely engage students.
