Use this effective strategy to present the basic scientific knowledge about stem cells, the promise of stem cell research to medicine, and the ethical considerations and arguments involved. Using the FIRES (Facts, Incidents, Reasons, Examples, and Statistics) strategy, students evaluate stem cell information from multiple sources and gain a deeper understanding of this sensitive topic.
