I think this lesson would make such a fun and engaging lesson for students. I think they would find a lot of joy and it's something they most likely wouldn't forget. The lesson is very hands on when it comes to building the prototypes which will help the material stick with students. I liked that it mentioned safety concerns to be aware of to keep the students safe.

In this activity students design, build and test a prototype solar oven in a six part lab engineering activity. This would be a great STEM activity because it combines all aspects of that program. The presentation of the activity makes it easy to incorporate into any curriculum. Students will enjoy the challenge and learn from it.
