This is a very short article, written by the editor of Science Scope. She repeatedly refers to the necessary skills that students will need to live and work in the digital age. References to The Framework for 21st Century Living, National Science Education Standards, and A Framework for K-12 Science Education are included as documentation of the needs that our students currently in the classroom will be needing to master to become globally competitive citizens. This is a quick read and a place where teachers can quickly refresh which documents they will need to be familiar with during their implementation of their curriculum.
