If you are lucky enough to put a greenhouse in your school this article would be very helpful when considering safety issues. Some of the issues discussed in this article are student accidents, alarm/sensor systems, behavior expectations, electricity security, doors, chemical awareness such from chemicals such as pesticides, furnishings, controls, housekeeping and more. To be truthful there are many more areas of concern than I could come up with. Reading through this article would make anyone better prepared to safely implement a greenhouse in one’s curriculum.
