This article was really helpful in sorting out the “rumors” as to what is happening with the MSDS sheets and the transition to SDS. It seems this has been a long time in coming and in the end will be very useful and ultimately offer a greater reliability in terms of safety. As a middle school teacher I appreciate the fact the new SDS forms will be easier to read and use. From my perspective, if we make it easier to understand how to deal with the chemicals, the more likely teachers are to use them in their classrooms because the fear will be gone.
