As an extra credit activity, teachers can let students take turns teaching class using the “each one teach one” approach. Student groups select an activity, write a lesson plan, create a worksheet, and then present their inquiry-based activity. This article describes how presenting demonstrations to peers, elementary students, and teachers helped high school students learn science content more effectively. Although students do not receive a grade or extra credit points; they are learning because it is something they value.
