I believe this would be a good introduction to the digestive system for my high school anatomy class. I envision making it a special laboratory that occurs outside of the regular classroom. The majority of my class drives to school so this would not be a problem. My class would share an evening meal after sports practice. We would eat pizza and go through the activity. Students would then be required to submit a formal lab write-up of their findings. Included in that report would be how their ideas about digestion may have changed.
