NSTA has unveiled a new name--and an enriched format--for its time-honored conventions. The NSTA national and area conventions will now be called NSTA Conferences on Science Education. Teachers will benefit from the wealth of information contained in this article regarding professional development opportunities and topical research dissemination conferences. It also highlights NSTA's new symposia format and focused strands that allow teachers to focus on special areas of interest or need.
