The cost of fuel seems to be constantly rising frustrating millions of Americans totally dependent on their cars for transportation. With this there is a desire for the USA to reduce its need for fuel from Arabic countries. This article provides excellent resources about fuel efficiency from The Alabama Learning Exchange, the Department of Energy, and the EPA. Add to this mix more resources from the Internet that will enable students to understand the relationship among fuel, engine, and vehicle technologies as it changes.
