This article has numerous ideas for using videos interactively in a classroom. I really liked the idea of students creating their own videos. I would like to add a couple of things from my experience. Don't turn out the lights! Student can see the video just fine with some lights on and they stay awake better. Stop and start the video to answer questions orally. This keeps the students on track.
