The author stumbled across the Physics, Physiology, & Technology (PP&T) program while attending a Modeling Instruction meeting. Modeling Instruction is a national science program that has been tried and proven. In this chapter, the author describes both programs, highlighting their respective strengths and degrees of alignment with the More Emphasis conditions of the National Science Education Standards. The author also explains how both programs were merged in the classroom to create a truly unique academic experience.
