This eBook did not only help me gain some information to include in my lesson planning for a science lesson and it also helped me learned so many things about our universe and the stars. I had no idea stars had different colors and that it all depended on the temperature they emit. The students I taught I lesson to about stars didn't know that about stars and thought it was so cool to learn that stars can be different colors they were a little confused as to why but this ebook had so much information that it helped me explain to those students why it occurs that way. This book has so much information you can use this as a base for creating lesson for any grade level when you adjust the way you word things. Elementary school students usually like learning about the sky and get so excited when they get to learn about it. This book was incredibly useful for a bunch of 5th graders that learned a bit about stars that at the end of the lesson they wanted to learn more. This could be a resource they could use in the future to learn more about the topic.

This eBook was a very helpful resource. In my college class, we used this book to help us learn the necessary background knowledge to plan an elementary education lesson. Specifically, my lesson's focus was on why the Sun is so big and bright compared to other stars. This eBook, being about the Universe, provided me with all of the pertinent information about other stars, galaxys, and aspects of the Universe that would prepare me for any questions that the students could come up with. While working through this eBook, I found it very easy and manageable to learn the information. Specifically, the quizzes after chapter were very helpful to check my understanding and prepare me for the cumulative exam at the end of the book. I would highly recommend reading and interacting with this book if you are interested in learning about the Universe and all of its components!

This resource is truly fascinating. This ebook was used as an assignment for me in a college science class. I previously did not know much about the universe past the simple facts of the sun and stars. This ebook taught me more about the universe than I ever knew was possible. The organization of the ebook allowed me to get a taste of many different topics related to the Universe. Each section allows you to dive deep into many different concepts by including stunning images and engaging simulations. The little quizzes in each section were also very helpful to ensure that I was taking in all of the great information being provided. I would highly suggest reading this ebook if you are at all interested in the Universe!

I bought this on a whim as I was looking for some new materials to help teach Astronomy to high school juniors and seniors. I have to say that it was one of the best purchases that I have ever made for my classroom. The interactivity and inquiry that the book offers has lead to many discussions and questions that have depth that I hadn't heard from students before. It's been wonderful and I recommend it to any teacher who wants to add something new and powerful to their classroom instruction.

This ebook is amazing. It takes the best information from the SciPacks and puts it together in an incredibly interactive format. I use this book as a reference in my high school introductory astronomy course, referencing the simulations and activities within and sharing them with my students. This resource is beautiful. The pictures are stunning and relevant. The review sections are also very nice for checking for understanding. Having only my copy to work with, I used it as an additional source in our study of stars. Students read silently the selections and discussed possible answers to the review sections. Students used the interactive projector to answer the questions and manipulate the interactive activities.

The topics, such as the physics of the universe and the electromagnetic spectrum, are relatively difficult topics to explain. I found this resource to explain these phenomena in a manner that made sense to me. Each concept was broken down into a smaller portions ultimately leading the reader to understand the big picture. While topics such as the universe are naturally interesting topics, I found myself investigating the predictable and unpredictable nature of the universe during my personal time at home after reading this e-book. A great gateway introduction to the universe.
