I really like this book as it allows you to have ten already made lessons to do for a fossil dig that are really easily broken down and easy to use. I used this book when I did a unit on fossils and this book made it so easy to do the fossil dig and allow the students to learn what I wanted them to learn. Another thing that I like about this book is that it allows you to play with the students imagination as you can pretend like someone is asking you to do the fossil dig and from experience the students really like this part.

I found this to be a great resource when talking about fossils in a classroom. It gives great details in the ten lessons that make it easy to implement it in your classroom. The fossil dig allows for students to interact with one another and help each other learn. When I taught these lessons all the students were excited and engaged each day. I would recommend this resource to anyone teaching fossils in their classroom.
