In an NSTA Interview, Page discusses how her teaching was transformed by using formative assessment probes when she was a middle school teacher back in the 1990's and read an article, "Teaching for Conceptual Change Confronting Students' Ideas." Richard Konicek-Moran, who is an NSTA Press author and one of Page Keeley’s mentors, co-wrote the book Teaching For Conceptual Understanding in Science with Page.
