Misconception About Inheritance of Traits (Genetics)

The purpose of this activity is to help students understand that acquired traits, such as injuries and specific skills, are not passed down from parent to offspring. This activity is also designed to address many of the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts and Literacy, which have a strong emphasis on literacy in science.
