This column provides original articles on innovations in case study teaching, assessment of the method, as well as case studies with teaching notes. This month’s issue describes a project that engages nonscience majors in a science communication assignment. Freshmen nonscience majors in a molecular biology class were mentored through the process of writing a case as an output to an individual research project.
