Teaching Teachers: Standards Direct Preservice Teacher Portfolios

Portfolios provide an opportunity and a structure for teachers to document and describe their teaching, articulate professional knowledge, and reflect on what, how, and why they teach. In this article, a required portfolio became the most logical answer for incorporating the standards into an already full science methods course.
