I really enjoyed this short article! It really pointed out the importance of learning about animals in the classroom. While it may be difficult to learn about some animals due to the accessibility or danger they entail, technology has made it possible to explore those animals without actually seeing them in person. Some students may be scared of some animals, as well, so the use of technology allows students to learn all about specific animals/insects without having to actually touch them or see them in person.

This article is eye opening in that it reminds us that students may not know a lot about different animals. When we see cute fuzzy animals we feel for them, but when we see the "creepy crawlies" it's a whole other story. If we educate students about how they all work together it can show them the importance of the animals that we don't "feel" for. It also helps to classify the animals into a category that fits them, this shows that all the animals are different but they have a place.
