I loved this journal article. The article gave me an insight on why it is confusing to teachers and students to label all the types of energy that can occur in one object. This article also was helpful in distinguishing between two forms of energy: potential and kinetic energy. I learned that the normal definition for potential energy is scientifically incorrect. I highly recommend reading this article if you are about to teach a lesson on energy.
