This article features the "Fishing for Clean Water" activity which can be modified for K-12 students and can be inquiry based or problem solving in nature. It provides basic comprehension of the effects of direct and indirect human actions on freshwater systems. Adapting simple activities such as this one to develop and stimulate the different learning styles of all students will promote science learning and help students meet education standards.
