This article encourages the use of TED talks as short videos. It doesn't really provide much guidance as how, but another site, TED-Ed at http://ed.ted.com provides a means to clip TED videos or YouTube style videos and tie them to quizzes/assessments. The problem is finding time to find what is useful. Good suggestion for those with time to check it out!
