Archive: Using the Learning Center as Your e-Textbook with Preservice Teachers, February 24, 2015

This web seminar took place on February 24, 2015, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. eastern standard time. The presenter was Flavio Mendez, Senior Director of the NSTA Learning Center, Dr. Kate Baird, professor at Indiana University Purdue University Columbus (IUPUC) and Dr. G. Nathan Carnes, Associate Professor in the Department of Instruction and Teacher Education (ITE) at the University of South Carolina and Program Coordinator for the Middle Level Education degree.

Mr. Mendez gave an overview of the NSTA Learning Center and described how it can be used as an e-Textbook at the college and university level. He shared examples of successful application in preservice teacher classrooms then invited Drs. Baird and Carnes to share their own experiences using the Learning Center with their students.
