I enjoyed reading this book chapter! I think that this story was very relatable to both children and adults. It seems as though, sometimes educators grow weary and upset with students because they seem disengaged and uninterested, much like Albert did. And it seems as though, unless we build personal relationships with our students and foster their learning through engaging them with things they are interested in, they will seem uninterested and like a behavior problem. I enjoyed reading this because it shows that, although Albert struggled with caring about school, he had others in his life, such as his Uncle and friends that cared about his learning and knew how to engage Albert! This is something that I would definitely read with my students to show that they should never give up and learn to be resilient and follow their dreams.

This was a great story. I think that would be something I would realoud to a class perhaps during a cool down lesson. I would love to use this with middle school children who are noticing and struggling through differences. I think it shows that no idea, observation, or person is useless and that is important for all children to know and realize with in themselves
