The Crooked Swing

by: Richard Konicek-Moran

The story in this chapter has two purposes. One is to apply what is known about pendulums to a new problem and the other is to use technical skills to solve a problem. The swing operates on the principles of periodic motion and the crooked branch, upon which the swing is hung, presents a technical problem looking for a solution.
