Free Educator Workshop with Algalita Marine Research and Education

Join Algalita Marine Research and Education for an exclusive educator workshop during the NSTA Conference in Anaheim! Explore the growing issue of microplastics with a behind-the-scenes tour of Algalita’s Learning Center—home to one of the world’s first accredited microplastics labs and the Moore Institute for Plastic Pollution Research.

Get hands-on with water quality testing in Alamitos Bay through the Clean Bay Collective community science program, and receive free curriculum plus a ready-to-use classroom toolkit found on Algalita’s open source, online education platform, Wayfinder Society for Environmental Education.

After the workshop, unwind at Ballast Point Brewery for a casual meet-and-greet with fellow educators, Algalita staff, Moore Institute scientists, and Captain Charles Moore, Algalita’s founder, who discovered the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.

Important: These specially priced tickets are for sale only to individuals attending the event for use only by event attendees and their travel party during their stay. Each event attendee (with a registration confirmation) may purchase up to ten (10) tickets from this ticket store. Disney reserves the right to contact the ticket purchaser to request that the ticket purchaser provide their event registration confirmation.
