Air Camp immerses students and educators in hands-on STEM experiences at iconic aviation and aerospace sites throughout the Dayton, Ohio area. Reaching learners from elementary through high school and educators nationwide, Air Camp turns the birthplace of flight into a launchpad for the next generation of innovators.

Algalita is an internationally known environmental nonprofit that started the movement to end plastic pollution nearly 30 years ago. We were the first to discover, and bring attention to, the swirling soup of plastic pollution in the Pacific – now known by many as the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. Since then, we’ve worked to revolutionize the plastic pollution conversation by building a web of connections between researchers, activists, industry leaders, educators, and young people across the globe. Our program, Wayfinder Society for Environmental Education, supports educators with free resources to teach about this issue.

FoLAR builds capacity for communities, students, and future leaders to advocate for nature, climate, and equity on the Los Angeles River. The LA River is one of the best classrooms in the city. It is a place where students can watch science, history, and conservation come to life, right in their own backyard. Through hands-on learning and real-world exploration, our K-12 education programs help students understand the River’s role in LA’s past, present, and future while empowering them to be part of its restoration.

Girls Inc. of Orange County is a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. We provide K–12 programs that support academic achievement, advocacy, health and well-being.

LA County Library is one of the largest library systems in the US. It offers free public resources including books, music, multimedia materials, computer and internet access, and more.

The Los Angeles Public Library serves the largest and most diverse population of any library in the United States, transforming its 73 locations into centers for hands-on discovery through STEAM and Neighborhood Science (NeiSci) initiatives. From paeticipatory science kits to Nature Quest, LAPL sparks scientific curiosity, creativity, and community connection for all Angelenos.

At the Las Vegas Science & Natural History Museum, we are on a mission to inspire a better understanding and appreciation of the natural world, the sciences, and ourselves through educational exhibits, programming, and research.

Muzeo engages the community in exploring and celebrating our diverse heritage, culture, and arts through creative programming. We are hosting, in partnership with BASF, a week long STEAM camp program that integrates Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics through hands-on activities, emphasizing the connection between scientific principles and artistic expression. The Army Educational Outreach Program (AEOP) connects students and educators with hands-on STEM learning opportunities and real-world research experiences. Its mission is to grow, broaden, and deepen the nation’s STEM talent pipeline by engaging K–12 students, teachers, and university participants in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics pathways that support the nation’s future STEM workforce.

We protect and share more than 35 million specimens and artifacts, the largest natural and cultural history collection in the western United States. But we also explore the nature and culture that surrounds us today, both in L.A. and the world.

The San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE) Science Team helps educators learn about and deepen their understanding of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). The Huntington, a world-renowned cultural and educational institution, provides transformative experiences for a community of the curious. Founded in 1919 by Henry E. and Arabella Huntington, it supports research and promotes public engagement through its expansive library, art, and botanical collections.

Every year, TreePeople engages tens of thousands of students in parks and on campuses to teach environmental literacy and provide hands-on, actionable solutions to our climate crisis. We also offer tools to teachers so they can continue to deepen students’ understanding of our local ecosystems.

Our mission at CalTeach is to recruit, support, and prepare diverse math and science majors to become equity-focused secondary teachers who are change agents in high-need schools. Students can graduate with their math or science bachelor’s degree PLUS a California single subject teaching credential, all within 4 years!
