Headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, the National Science Teachers Association is a member-driven organization, 60,000-strong. We offer cutting-edge Professional Development opportunities, and we publish books, journals, and additional content on effective teaching strategy and best practices.
Each year, we hold five major events offering comprehensive professional development and networking opportunities for science teachers and administrators: a National Conference on Science Education in the spring, three Area Conferences in the fall, and a STEM Forum & Expo in May.
We inform Congress and the public on vital questions affecting science literacy and a well-educated workforce. And with your support, we can do even more to further our mission "to promote excellence and innovation in science teaching and learning for all."
