Member Web Seminar

Join us on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM ET, for the third web seminar in this series about the Crosscutting Concepts.

Participants will learn about and engage with effective instructional strategies, including the I2 Strategy from BSCS (Identify and Interpret), and how to use a “slow reveal” approach to help students make sense of data and graphs. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore a variety of online sources for obtaining data for students to analyze and interpret and will also receive access to a virtual toolbox of resources to immediately use in their classroom.

Note: This is the third web seminar in a series of four about the Crosscutting Concepts developed by members of the NSTA’s Professional Learning Committee. Please consider registering in the last web seminar in the series taking place May 14. The first two web seminars took place February 27 and April 16.

All individuals receive a certificate of participation and 100 NSTA activity points for attending the live seminar and completing the end-of-program survey. A certificate of participation is not awarded for watching the recorded version of the program.
