It Pays to Go to School

Just for once, skip the usual first day of school routine that includes seating charts, questionnaires, textbook distribution, and so on, and try a little science instead. By implementing this inquiry-based lesson into your science curriculum, students will have the opportunity to explore the properties of a water-soluble paper called Dissolvo and brainstorm alternative, practical uses for the product. Through this activity, students will discover that “science is a limitless voyage of joyous exploration” and it really does pay to go to school.
