This educator explains how he structures learning into a ten week learning experience about human digestion. The time is divided into three major stages: classroom introduction (Stage One); group (or individual) inquiry projects (Stage Two); and projects, presentations, and discussions (Stage Three). This author explains each stage related to his theme of digestion to provide an overview of his organization of learning. Through his approach to inquiry the teacher is the facilitator and the students become self motivated learners through lots of incentives.
